Anyone know how Sump Pump is? That was a hard hit she took. I hope she's OK.

Not so good. Jaw broken in two spots, goes in for surgery tomorrow. Yes, she will need our help, and once all gets organized and over the shock, there will be a general call to arms...

Wow! I didn't know that it was that serious! That is heinous! Our thoughts are with you, Sump Pump!

Broken jaw, oh *&%#! From where I was sitting, the accident itself didn't look bad - looked like she just smacked into the back or helmet of one of the GNR girls. The look on her face, though - you could feel her pain across the room. Damn. All sympathies, Sump Pump.

Yea, I just figuered she smacked or broke her nose. Having done that twice, I know it's strangely painful and totally debilitating. When i went to talk to her after the med folk had scene her, I was frightened. She was totally out of it and still couldn't talk. That's when all freaked and her mom took her to the emergency room.

Breaking a jaw, ... Wow

Noz...out

I was pretty sure it was at least dislocated from where I sat. That whole bout was just building up to someone getting really hurt. I really thought I was going to get tossed out for yelling at the refs to throw out a certain skater much earlier on and much more permanently. Last night looked WAY too much like the old 70'd bouts with out the staging and acting.
Both my and Hanner's thoughts are with Sump Pump.

It looked awful from where we were sitting. I knew when she looked up after the initial fall that she had either busted out some teeth or broken her jaw. I had a hard time just sitting there (currently being trained in first aid/cpr, but I knew the medic up there could do a much better job than I) and had angry tears in my eyes the whole time she was down. Like my mom said, Sump Pump is in my thoughts and we are both wishing her a speedy recovery.
